Here’s What’s on Amazon

2025-07-11

It has taken a good six years to reach this point where I’m ready to publish the Trilogy. It has been a labour of love, a love of the self and others, to reach my goal finally.

It has also taken days to think about the content for the Amazon placement, so people can understand what I have written.

Here are the descriptions:-

The Trilogy

The Nowhere Chronicles is a journey told through metaphor as it follows my awakening to a truth long buried and to a remembering of who I was before the world told me to hide.

The trilogy is an emotionally raw series. It is deeply spiritual as it reflects my journey through life, travelling on a steam train on tracks laid down by others.

The carriages pulled by the Nowhere Express hold my past, a past full of memories, gradually turning to dust. That weight must be carried until I can find the courage to release it. The train gets lighter as I do.

Set in an imagined landscape, the experiences, emotions, and discoveries emerge from a place deep inside, a place previously unreachable until the events of 1994 switched me onto a new set of tracks, where new opportunities for understanding and awareness became visible.

The beginning of the story was set in motion by the realisation that change was indeed necessary, change that could only take place once I was willing. The middle of the story brought decades of fears to the surface, fears I’d spent decades trying to avoid. The final part of the story is the discovery of my true self, that which was always there but hidden due to trauma and pain and the opinions of an unkind world. Our traumas are the wounds where the light can enter.

Initially written as a way to help me make sense of a profoundly challenging period in my life, when I felt that ending my life was my only option, this story developed and grew into something much greater.

As the words and metaphors slowly wove together, I realised that the trilogy was a sacred journey that facilitated self-discovery and a powerful inner reckoning towards wholeness. I listened to the quiet wisdom within and to the echoes of all those conversations, simply writing down what was said.

This journey is one of becoming, from Colin to Caren to Coran, a trinity of one.

Book 1: A Journey to Nowhere

The old train bursts from the tunnel of darkness, through the Wall, to discover a new land, a land not shaped by rejection, silence, and the grief of not being seen. The train station called Nowhere lies some distance away, waiting patiently for the passenger to arrive.

That passenger is me.

What lies ahead is the unknown, but I cannot go back. Only forward. I really don’t know who I am anymore. The wind of change is blowing, a transformational storm I cannot resist. I must make decisions, choose a path, and find the honesty I avoided for decades. The carriages contain my history, a past that cannot be released until I’m willing to view it once again.

This is just the beginning of a challenging journey of metamorphosis and introspection, one that involves the exploration of memory and identity.

The Nowhere Express pulls into the station, marking the beginning of a new journey of awakening, leading to the discovery of the inner child cowering in the depths of the abyss.

Book 2: Surrendering to My Fears

The middle part of any journey tends to be the most challenging as the distance forward equals the distance backwards. This part is about facing the fear that’s been ignored for decades. I must climb the mountain to face the brooding black tower at its summit and discover something unexpected.

Darker experiences due to the opinion of others resulted in parts of me separating off, locked away when the pain became unbearable. These missing parts were calling for reintegration, so I had to find the courage to witness their pain and fear.

Fear is a strange beast. Once faced, fear is smaller than we expect. Fear, though, is a protector if driven by the correct beliefs. Most beliefs are subconscious, so fear can turn into terror and anxiety.

It takes a curious animal to show me the true meaning of unconditional love and compassion that I need to show myself. How can I express that love to others when I haven’t been shown love and compassion?

For those who’ve ever buried their own light just to be accepted, this chapter offers more than healing. It offers reunion.

Book 3: Discovering My True Self

In the final chapter of The Nowhere Chronicles, the journey shifts from healing to revelation. This final leg of the journey begins where it hurts the most: standing before those who tried to break me with their taunts of ridicule and hatred. Their cruelty lingers deep within until the experience fundamentally changes me. I have finally come to understand my internal struggle with appreciating my own worth.

I need to face them again, but from an evolved sense of awareness that hurt people hurt people. But this time I am not the same. I realise that they can only feel a sense of their own worth by diminishing another. They are afraid, afraid of me and the mirror I hold, which forces them to look within to their own traumas. What they don’t realise is that the traumas are the wounds by which the light can enter.

Guided by spiritual forces and the quiet wisdom found within, I move from fragmentation to integration, from prison to freedom, from Colin to Caren to Coran. The destination of The Nowhere Chronicles was never without, but within, to coalesce those parts lost in a maze of external opinion and judgement.

The trilogy ends where it began, a Möbius Loop. The universe doesn’t do things to us; instead, it does things for us. It will repeat experiences until we understand what needs healing within us.
