A Thoughtful Review

February 10, 2026

The experience of reading the Nowhere Chronicles has been a multi-layered, multidimensional voyage for me. It’s almost impossible to find the words to explain the depth of the books as they’re other-worldly, but deeply relevant at the same time. Using layers of metaphors facilitates a deep inner journey, helping the reader to travel deeply within themselves, finding their own connection to the words and wisdom hidden in the nooks and crannies of every page.

It takes willingness on the part of the reader to step into the world Coran has carefully woven and created, and then it takes time to cultivate the courage to travel even deeper within, in order to let the words carry their own magic and power. Coran has clearly been on a powerful, and often challenging, journey in her own life, but in many ways, the story matters less than the deeply spiritual essence the books have created. Coran has woven a magical web that is an invitation to dive in deeply and fly free.

There were many times when it was hard to discern myself from the words as they resonated in so many different ways. Insights and revelations surfaced throughout, meaning these aren’t books to rush; they are books to savour gently and over time. On a spiritual level, the books create as many questions as they answer, leaving much room for thought and reflection. There are no tidy endings, instead the ending opens outward, almost into a quietly expanding consciousness that is beyond words and beyond understanding.

Long after the pages end, the essence lingers but cannot be grasped; it floats in consciousness, gently ebbing and flowing on the shoreline of the soul. Although the ending opens outwards, the story continues inward, encouraging reflection and a sense of quiet awareness…
